Introduction

Clever Registry Cleaner Free is a top-ranking error-resolution registry cleaner that scans the Windows registry and finds incorrect or obsolete information within. This free registry cleaner will remove unused and old entries, including ActiveX, shared DLLs, application info, system drivers, fonts, help files, application paths, sound events, history list and more to keep your registry clean.

Step 1. Scan Registry

Launch Clever Registry Cleaner Free and and you'll see all the registry entries located in the left-side window of the program. By default, all of them are checked to be scanned. You can uncheck any of them if you don't want to scan. Click "Scan Registry" to start scan. Scanning your system takes just a few seconds (depending on how much information you have), and this software finds errors or issues throughout your registry. Once the scan is complete, you are able to see a full list of the issues, from which you can simply identify which section has issues and how many issues it has. Uncheck the issues if you don't want to remove. By a right click, you can select all/none, ignore, or open these registry entries in registry editor.

Select All - choose all the issues to be cleaned

Select None - do not choose any of the issues

Invert Selection - change the order of "Select All" and "Select None"

Excluded Selected - add selected registry keys to the ignore list

View in regedit - open the registry editor

In "General" tab, click "Browse..." below the "Select a folder to backup deleted registry entries" to select a folder to backup the current registry. This allows you to reverse any changes in case you don't like them or they cause a conflict with another program. Click "Browse..." below the "Select a folder to save the log files to" to choose another folder to save the log files. You are allowed to check the other options you need from "Log registry scans and fixes", "Re-scan after fixing registry issues", "Create system restore points automatically" and so on.

Click "Ignore List" tab and right click the window to add file/folder/registry path to ignore list so that the registry cleaner will simply pass over those selections and leave them alone. Choose "Remove Entry" to remove the selected entry from this list.

Click "Scheduler" to make the program perform registry cleanup daily, weekly, monthly or never, according to your preference.
